I live in Alberta, Canada, with my husband, three sweet children, a wild imagination, and a distaste for all things laundry. Though I’ve had many adventures before motherhood–exploring and working in Asia, Europe, and Africa–my greatest and most challenging venture has been discovering the wonder of family and building a village of friends and fellow moms.

While avoiding the laundry pile, I’ve written a book, Mothers of the Village. It’s about why all us moms need a village of support and how we can build those villages for ourselves.

You can buy a copy of Mothers of the Village here.

  1. Char if I could adopt you and Jord, it would be such a blessing. You are lovely in every way. I love your candid nature, your curiosity, your ability to see deep into the soul. I just wanted you to know I linked both your blogs to mine and will be happy to write an ADD adventure soon. My best,
